Well Hello everyone in Montgomery County I hope this finds you all well. The number of phone calls into my office was 53 and the number of veterans. Into my office was 22 . We also took 11 veterans to their appointments at the VA Hospital this month.
I will be at the American Legion Post 72 on September 7th from 1-4:00 so call me for an appointment. My number is 765-361-4133. I will also be at the VFW Post 1431 on September the 14th from 1-4:00 so you could call for an appointment at the same number.
On the 15th of September is POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony in downtown Indianapolis at the Indiana War Memorial, 55 E. Michigan St. Indianapolis, IN 46204 and the start time will be at 12:00 noon.
Let’s not forget that our Veterans Expo will be on October the 19th from 8:00 am till 12:00 noon and Flu shots will be given starting at 9:30.
Also here is a change with the way we do our VA Van you now need to phone Ron Compton 765-307-6200 he is our dispatcher for the VA Vans.
Again, I say you will need to call Ron Compton at 765-307-6200 to schedule the VA Vans!
We will still do Flu shots at the Veteran Expo however if you can’t make it that you may go to Lafayette VA Clinic at 940 Park East Boulevard, Lafayette, IN 47905 on Friday, Oct 6 or Friday November 17th or you may go to Roudebush VA Medical Center at 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, In 46202. Parking Lot A (along West 10th Street)- Room C1001 right inside 10th Street entrance. Mon-Fri Hours 8 am to 3 pm – Available Sept 12th through November 30th.
Also New Veteran Patients should contact the Veteran Health Benefits Unit at 317-988-4301 or you can come to my office. You may come and see me either at the American Legion or the VFW or my office at 1580 Constitution Row - Suite F (Former Williamsburg Nursing Home). My office number is: 765-361-4133.
